Relaxing & Grounding Group Experience

Level 1 is the initiation into the art of creating intentional group experiences rooted in nature and inspired by Latvian Pirts tradition. This first level is connected to the element of Air, symbolising an experience that invites renewal, clarity and the gentle return to self.

Over two fully immersive days, you will gain the confidence to deliver the 25-minute Pirts Spirit Air group experience for up to 8 guests in sauna using the power of birch and eucalyptus whisks. The training equips you with the knowledge and essential skills needed to work with whisks, steam, nature, the elements and the guests.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Experience the Pirts Spirit Air Experience to connect to the experience and let nature guide you into deep relaxation.

  • Understand and connect to the roots of Latvian Pirts and the intention behind the experience

  • Understand the unique properties and gifts of the Birch & Eucalyptus tree

  • Preparation, use and aftercare of Birch and Eucalyptus whisks

  • Basic physiology to support the experience and deepen your understanding and simple breathing practices for grounding yourself and your guests.

  • The ethics and safety protocols of giving Pirts spirit group experiences

  • The start-finish Pirts Spirit Air Experience procedure and core techniques with the whisks

  • Whisk binding – visit the forest to bind Birch whisks (weather dependent).

  • Guest communication and introduction talk

  • Practice the experience with your piers. Get creative, receive valuable feedback and inspire each other.

  • The Level 1 Pirts Spirit Air education takes place over two fully immersive days, grounded in Experience, Theory and Practice.

  • You will gain the confidence to deliver the 25-minute Pirts Spirit Air group experience for up to 8 guests in sauna using the power of birch and eucalyptus whisks. The training equips you with the knowledge to create a complete nature journey including how to hold space for the opening and closing circle to ensure your guests feel relaxed and grounded.

    You will also receive a fully comprehensive coursebook and access to a music playlist with intentionally selected grounding and peaceful music to accompany and enhance your experience.

    Plus a Certificate of completion!

  • No, you are responsible for finding accommodation during the education. We will be happy to offer suggestions if you need it :)

  • Food will be offered at the wellness where the education is being hosted however the price of this is not included in the cost of the course and this will be financed by yourself.

  • Pirts Spirit has an amazing team of trainers around Europe who supply our educations. The trainer is selected based on location and availability.
