LATVIAN COURSES
Terms and conditions
Payment
Upon booking request, an invoice will be sent to your email with the total price of the course. To secure your course booking, a minimum deposit of 40% of the total price is required and confirms your booking. Alternatively, you may choose to pay the full amount upfront. The deposit is non-refundable, and the rest of the payment must be received no later than one month prior to the start date of the course.
The price on the website includes 5 nights of accommodation, food, course materials, use of Pirts, coursebook and certificate.
The Camp starts with an evening meal on the date the camp begins, followed by three meals per day for the next four days, and ends with breakfast and lunch on the final day. For example, for camp dates from the 9th to the 14th, meals will be provided starting with dinner on the evening of the 9th, three meals on the 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th, and then breakfast and lunch on the 14th.
The price does not include any transport costs, such as flights or transport to Sigulda train station or Ziedlejas Wellness, or food/drinks outside of the stated meal times.
VAT
The listed price includes VAT at 21%.
For private bookings for individuals (not made through a VAT-registered company) and non-VAT registered companies, whether in Belgium or outside the EU, VAT at the standard rate of 21% will be applied. Belgian VAT-registered companies are required to handle VAT on their side, and therefore do not remove VAT from the invoice for Belgian businesses.
For EU businesses (outside Belgium), VAT can be removed using the reverse charge mechanism if a valid VAT number is provided. In this case, the invoice will state "Reverse charge – VAT to be accounted for by the buyer."
For UK and non-EU businesses, VAT will not be applied if a valid VAT number is provided, and the buyer will handle VAT obligations in their own country.
If you would like to book without VAT, please provide the following information when booking:
Your valid VAT number
Your company’s registered business name
The company’s official registered address
The country of registration
If the VAT number provided is invalid or missing, VAT will be charged at the applicable rate.
If you would like to set up a payment plan, please discuss it with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Cancellation Policy
The course will only commence with a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 8 participants.
Cancellation by the participant - Due to the financial commitments involved in hosting this course, we are unable to provide refunds.
Cancellation by Pirts Spirit - In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the course for any serious reason, you will receive a full refund of the price of the camp. We do our best to provide as much notice as possible and offer alternative course dates where available. However, we are not liable for any additional costs that may incur, such as travel or additional accommodation expenses.
Travel Insurance
It is essential that all participants have appropriate travel insurance to cover their stay in Latvia. This should include, but is not limited to, coverage for medical expenses, loss or damage of luggage, and any unforeseen travel disruptions. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure they have adequate travel insurance in place before attending the course.
Pirts Spirit accepts no responsibility for any issues related to travel insurance. Should an event arise where a participant needs to use their travel insurance but does not have coverage, they will be required to cover all costs from their own personal funds. Pirts Spirit does not provide or cover such expenses.

Pirts Spirit takes no responsibility for these activities, and we strongly advise that you inform a member of the Pirts Spirit team if you plan to engage in any such activities for your own safety.
