What you will learn
Pirts Spirit Four Elements Treatment education is delivered exclusively in Latvia, where you will fully immerse yourself in authentic Latvian Pirts tradition, culture and connect to the sacred land. This comprehensive education unfolds across four progressive levels, each building upon the last to grow your knowledge, your technique and your confidence to bring the Pirts Spirit treatment back to your guests.
As you advance, you'll deepen your understanding of the physiological and energetic properties of healing plants and trees, how to harvest, bind and use them in Pirts, you will learn to work with scrubs and honey treatments, deeply connect to the four elements and develop the confidence to attune to your guest’s needs for more intuitive and intentional journeys.

THE FOUR ELEMENTAL TREAMENT LEVELS
LEVEL 1
AIR treatment
BIRCH & EUCALYPTUS
Learn the 30-minute Pirts Spirit Air treatment that connects your guests with the pioneering power of birch whisks and invigorating eucalyptus whisks. You'll learn the step-by-step procedure from opening to closing, along with whisk techniques that support relaxation of the whole body including steam dances, light touch, compression for the joints and whisk massage (flapping). Learn how to manage the heat for yourself and your guest and how to use gentle water contrast for relaxation. You'll also learn how to prepare your Pirts and your whisks, how to ground yourself using mindfulness techniques, basic physiology to understand why and how you work with the body and how to create a safe space where the guest can fully open to the spirit of Pirts and the plants.
LEVEL 2
FIRE TREATMENT
ENGLISH OAK, RED OAK & PERSIAN OAK
9 MAGICAL HERBS & EXFOLIATION
Learn the 60-minute Pirts Spirit Fire treatment as you add the energizing force of three different kinds of oak whisks to your practice. You will refine your techniques from Level 1 and then master new whisk techniques, including whisk massage (flapping techniques) that deliver new sensations and intentions to your treatment. Include the magic of nine herbs and learn about their properties and how to use them in Pirts to bring new energy, natural healing properties and new sensory experiences. Finally, learn the exfoliation procedure which includes a full-body scrub, learn to make the scrub using fresh herbs and how to apply it during Pirts. Further deepen your knowledge of the physical and energetic body and learn how to manage your own energy and heat while staying grounded and present during the experience.
LEVEL 3
WATER TREATMENT
LINDEN & BIRD CHERRY
MORE HERBS, HONEY & WHISK TECHNIQUES
Learn the 90-minute Pirts Spirit Water treatment and embrace the calming, gentle energy of linden leaves and bird cherry whisks. Take your treatment procedure to the next level by adding a natural honey rub, more healing herbs and learn how to use propolis mats and make your own herbal carpets to enhance the guest experience. You'll also learn how to guide your guest through rest periods between treatment phases. You will deepen your technical and theoretical skills and feel more confident guiding the treatment with both intuition and your guest's intentions. Although you will learn the water procedure, you will now have the ability to be more creative with it using your own intuition, since you have the theory and skills to guide the whole experience.
LEVEL 4
EARTH TREATMENT
MAPLE AND PINE
MORE HERBS, CLAY APPLICATION AND MASTERY
Experience the ultimate dance of the elements as you bring all of your knowledge together to create the earth treatment, the final element. You will learn how to bind and use maple whisks and pine whisks for an additional sensory experience. You will also learn to apply clay in the treatment as you connect with the earth element. With all of your techniques, skills, knowledge, and practice, you will create your own ritual with guidance from Pirts Spirit and our Pirts masters. You will guide your guests through the complete procedure and experience what it is like to be a Pirts Spirit Master of the Elements.
