EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY

Pirts Spirit education takes you on an elemental journey where you progressively gain new knowledge, techniques, and herbal wisdom to invite more of nature's gifts into your space.

The education levels are built around the four natural elements—Air, Fire, Water, and Earth—that are inherently present in every Pirts experience and within ourselves, creating the bridge between us and the natural world.

Each element carries unique energetic properties that shape the intentions of the experiences you'll learn to create. As you progress through each level, you'll work with plants energetically aligned with that element, deepening your ability to guide intentional Pirts Inspired experiences.

The journey equips you to confidently guide Pirts-inspired group and treatments in your wellness space. You'll also learn the essential opening and closing practices that create intentional journeys and establish spaces of trust and safety, because it is only in these spaces that the four elements can have their deepest effect.

Air is associated with breath, life and clarity. In Pirts, air carries the steam and plant essences, spreading their healing properties. It represents the flow of energy and the freedom of spirit, aiding in mental clarity and spiritual growth.

Fire signifies transformation, energy and vitality. The fire heats the stones, generating steam that purifies and energises. Spiritually, fire burns away impurities, rekindling inner strength and life force.

Water symbolises purification, renewal and emotional healing. It is used both to create steam by pouring over hot stones and directly on the body for cleansing. This dual role helps wash away negative energies, refreshing both body and spirit.

Earth represents grounding, stability and connection to nature. In Pirts, it’s embodied by natural materials like wood, stones and plants, providing a foundation for the physical and spiritual cleansing that takes place.

EXPERIENCE

THEORY

To fully embody the experience, it is important to know the Roots - What we do and Why we do it.

This part will provide fundamental knowledge and confidence to professionally deliver the experience with deeper intention and meaning.

PRACTICE

Practice makes the master.

You will learn and practice dancing with the four elements in sauna, including using different tree whisks and natural products (level dependent).

You will prepare and give the experiences, provide valuable feedback and inspire and learn from each other.
